Gustave Courbet decía que "la pintura está en el dedo", pero yo no lo creo así. Picasso definió: "La pintura es cosa mental", y tenía razón. Fue Paul Cézanne, con la frase "Dans le peintre il y a deux choses: l'œil et le cerveau" quien identificó los verdaderos instrumentos del pintor.
